Tools are are complex resources crafted by [[:villageTab:village:workshop|workshops]] or  special buildings.

====== Clothes ======

[[resources:tools:Clothes]] are complex items that need a series of [[:research]] and crafting skills to be done. They are constantly used by villagers to protect their houses and bodies troughout the whole year, and play special roles in [[:heating]] homes, therefore affecting [[:happiness]]. [[villagetab:village:hut|Huts]], [[villagetab:village:house|houses]] and [[villagetab:village:longhouse|longhouses]] that end their clothes supplies will consume more [[resources:processed:fuel]] during the [[:weather|winter]].

To craft clothes you will need, in order, to [[:research]]:
  - Foresight
  - Calendar
  - Weather
  - Stone Shovel (this can be skipped by buying items in the [[villagetab:village:marketplace|market]] tab)
  - Agriculture
  - Cotton (this can be skipped by buying items in the [[villagetab:village:marketplace|market]] tab, although you will need cotton [[villagetab:field:field|fields]] in order to produce [[resources:processed:fabric]]). 
  - Fabric
  - Tailoring

You will also need to have:
  - [[resources:raw:Cotton]] or [[resources:raw:wool]] income
  - Fabric crafting (done in [[villagetab:village:workshop]] or [[villagetab:field:cotton_mill|cotton mill]])
  - [[villagetab:village:Tailor]]

Workshops are able to craft clothes, using 10 fabric. As tailors only use 3, it is not recomended to get workshops doing them. 
This resource was also used by armies to do certains actions (feature under rework).
