Logs are the basic building material in the game.\\ Those are also used for one of the first resources used for heating houses.

They are obtained from [[villagetab:forest:Gatherer|Gatherers]] (although slow) or especially from [[villagetab:forest:Loggers_hut|Loggers hut]] by turning **Forest** into [[resources:raw:Log]] (remember to replant **Forest** with a [[villagetab:forest:Forester]]).

Production pace of a [[villagetab:forest:Loggers_hut|Loggers hut]] is 21 ticks for 1 [[resources:raw:Log]] (+5% per tick + 1 tick to transport the log).
Production pace of a [[villagetab:forest:Loggers_camp|Loggers camp]] is 22 ticks for 1 [[resources:raw:Log]] per villager (+5% per tick + 1 tick to transport the log + 1 tick to calculate the amount of trees to cut next simultaneously).
Hence a [[villagetab:forest:Loggers_hut|Loggers hut]] produces [[resources:raw:Log]] slightly faster than a [[villagetab:forest:Loggers_camp|Loggers camp]] at the expense of taking up more land and squares on the screen.
