Religion is a support engine in the game, that can be unlocked as soon as a shrine and church are built. The shrine auto generates faith at a slower rate than the church, but the church requires a person to operate it in order to generate faith. Up to 100 faith points can be stored.

Religions

As no prayers survive without a listening God, with some sacrifices all players can devote themselves to a certain religion, unlocking exclusive prayers. Only one religion allowed per time.

Natural sources affect the following, quoted from Xamer in a forum post:
“The affected resources are: forest yearly growth, fish breeding rate, field, orchard growing and pasture animals reproduction and produce output.”
