To keep villagers alive it uses food from warehouse to feed them.

During winter when temperature falls below certain level it also require fuel to heat up and prevent villagers from freezing.

Last resource used by people in huts are clothes. Those are slowly used for the whole year but the demand is higher when temerature is low. If the clothes are available during low temperature then required amount of fuel is reduced.

Lack of those resources can lead to decrease in happiness.
