Does anyone still keeps updating or following this game ? I would like to know how to use military, because my units cannot attack other civilizations.

Food is tough as it can be expected for a stone age village. At the game start you need to use most villagers to produce food. Make sure to always have extra food for bad times. Bad weather can prevent gatherers from producing food and if by bad luck it continues for a few days your villagers might use all stored food and starve.

You need to make sure you have enough resources that can be used as fuel to keep your villagers from freezing during winter.

When temperature falls below certain level, mainly during winter, your villagers require to heat themselves not to freeze. They will use fuel resources in order described in heating.

You can also see which buildings use a given resource (logs/brushwood in this case) in the pop-up when you put your mouse over the resource in the header, or on the resources overview page, see this screenshot, section “Used by”
